 CHERI ANDERSON

Executive Producer

Cheri Anderson hails far, far from Scotland: San Diego, California where it is 70 degrees year-round, and a drizzle is reason to stay home.

She and her bestie got their hands on a New Yorker magazine in middle school and dreamt of moving to the Big Apple one day to experience “real” theatre, seasonal wardrobe changes, and a meal at the Diner from Seinfeld.  A few weeks after college graduation, she realized her dream; moving to NYC where she knew only one person, and where she remains to this day.

Cheri’s career began in advertising and has spanned the Agency, Production and Postproduction world. She’s produced countless commercials, events, a short-lived game show, and a documentary.  Currently Cheri is Managing Director of a female founded Production Company, JOAN Studios. She is a staunch champion of diversity and sustainability in our industry and her work has been recognized and celebrated with accolades from the ESPYS, EMMYS, Andy’s, AICP, The One Show, and Cannes Lions.

She lives between Brooklyn, NY and Millerton, NY with her husband, two children and a beagle.
